2026/27 Ghana Premier League fixtures released as defending champions Medeama be
The Ghana Football Association has unveiled the fixtures for the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League, confirming another 34-match season featuring 18 clubs.
Defending champions Medeama SC will open their title defence on the road against Dreams FC on Matchday One. Record title holders Asante Kotoko travel to face Debibi United, while Accra giants Hearts of Oak begin their campaign away at Berekum Chelsea.
Elsewhere, Swedru All Blacks face a tough assignment at Basake Holy Stars, Vision FC host Young Apostles, Port City take on FC AshantiGold, Samartex welcome Karela United, Bechem United host Gold Stars, and Heart of Lions entertain Aduana FC.
Looking further ahead, Matchday Two already delivers early highlights with Medeama facing Port City and Asante Kotoko meeting Heart of Lions. By Week Four, Medeama will host Basake Holy Stars while Asante Kotoko welcome Aduana.

Fans can also look forward to a heavyweight encounter between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in Week 13, with the reverse fixture scheduled for the second round.
The first round of the season runs from Week 1 to Week 17, with clubs playing each opponent once before the reverse fixtures commence in the second half of the campaign.
The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to begin on the weekend of September 4–7, 2026, and conclude in late May 2027.
