Hearts of Oak name Nebojsa Kapor as new head coach on a two-year contract
Hearts of Oak have appointed Serbian coach Nebojsa Kapor as their new head coach on a two-year deal ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The club stated that Kapor was selected through a recruitment process focused on restoring domestic success and strengthening their competitiveness at the continental level.
Kapor is familiar with Ghanaian football, having previously managed Tema Youth, Bechem United and Medeama SC. His experience in the Ghana Premier League, combined with his reputation for developing young players and promoting an attacking style of play, played a significant role in the appointment.
In a statement confirming the move, Hearts expressed confidence in the Serbian’s capacity to take the club forward.
“The Board is confident Coach Kapor has the leadership and technical competence to guide Hearts of Oak into a new era of stability and success,” the club said.
The Phobians have also urged supporters to get behind Kapor and his technical team as they aim to return to the top of Ghanaian football and establish a stronger presence in African competitions.
