The debutants are looking to maintain their unbeaten run. Holy Stars, fresh from their stunning win over Hearts of Oak and a deserving draw against Dreams FC seeks another upset in Bibiani. In 15 games at home, the Miners have lost just two games and will hope to continue that impressive home run.
Karela United vs. Accra Lions (Sunday, 3:00 PM): At the Naa Sheriga Sports Centre in Nalerigu, Karela United, still searching for their first win, hosts Accra Lions. The Dormaa-based club are also winless in their last two home games and will want to secure their first win of the season when Nations come to town. Nations are also on a poor run having drawn three and lost three of their last six league games.
Hearts of Oak vs. Bechem United (Sunday, 6:00 PM): Hearts of Oak, reeling from consecutive losses, faces the hunters Bechem United at the University of Ghana stadium in Legon, a venue the Phobians have adopted following the closure of the Accra Sports Stadium. The Phobians will be hoping a change in venue means a change in form following their winless start to the season. Bechem United seeks to exploit Hearts' vulnerabilities and pressure. The Hunters have won 5 in 19 games against the Phobians, losing 11 and drawing 3. The Phobians won 3-2 the last time they met, a win that aided their survival.
