Nations FC have been officially relegated from the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League
Nations FC have been officially relegated from the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League after finishing 16th in the final standings.
Stephen Frimpong Manso’s side claimed a 1-0 victory over Karela United on the final day, but the result proved insufficient to keep them in the top flight. Swedru All Blacks’ 2-1 win over Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium simultaneously sealed Nations’ fate and confirmed their drop into the Access Bank Division One League.
The club ended the campaign with a record of 12 wins, eight draws and 14 losses. Their final-day success over Karela came without captain Razak Simpson, who was away on international duty with the Black Stars for their friendly against Mexico, which Ghana lost 2-0.
Despite the relegation, Nations still have one major opportunity remaining this season. They will face Dreams FC in an all-Premier League MTN FA Cup final on Sunday, 31 May at the University of Ghana Stadium.
