OUR GAME PLAN PAID OFF- COACH SHAIBU TANKO
Real Tamale United head coach Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko concedes his game plan worked to perfection as his side recorded their first win of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
The Tamale based side returned to the top flight of Ghana football after eight years in the lower division.
RTU registered their first victory with a 2-0 result in match week three against 18th placed WAFA at the Alhaji Aliu Mahama Sports stadium.
“In our last game against Legon Cities we should have been more clinical and gotten more from that game. Shaibu said in his post match interview.
He added, “this week the focus (at training) was to improve on goal scoring and it paid off with two good goals and that is enough to secure us all three points.”
He however admitted the team needs to improve as they aim to cement a regular place in the Ghana Premier League.
